Testing the Tom-2A-GFP construct in chick embryos. The enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) and TdTomato segregate to the nucleus and plasma membrane respectively, indicating that the 2A peptide functions in chick cells. (A) EGFP fluorescence.
