In each graph, the normalized hybridization signal intensities of genes whose expression changed significantly between any developmental interval and the reference interval were plotted on the y axis for stages 5 (S5; A), 6-7 (S6-7; B), 8-9 (S8-9; C) or 10-12 (S10-12; D), and on the x axis for stages 2-3 (S2-3). The diagonal line indicates no change in expression.
