  1. aλmax (nm) of Visual pigment template that were fitted to the sensitivity curve (R2 values of the template fits in parentheses). Owing to cone interactions, the sensitivity peaks measured were typically narrower than the fitted pigment templates, resulting in relatively low R2 values.
