Proof of principle of the ChIn assay using known anti-inflammatory drugs. The ChIn assays were carried out by manually counting leukocytes recruited to the lateral line after copper treatment (10 μM) as described in Results. In this experiment, dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) was included in all samples, and drugs were added 1 hour prior to copper treatment at the indicated concentrations.
