Combinatorial assembly of Qbricks into short ALACATs. To test the ease of editability and swapping of Qbricks into short ALACATs, we created a ligation reaction in which there were two choices of Qbrick at each of four or five positions (a), encoding pairs of quantotypic peptides P₁ and P₂. The reaction products were cloned and a total of 65 clones were selected for DNA sequencing, to establish the composition of the long ALACATs (from either the B or H series) were incorporated (b).
