Statistical associations among species found by modeling species abundances as a function of co-occurring species and environmental predictors. Twenty-two positive and negative associations were found. Associations are considered as density-dependent effects on the abundance of the influenced species, possibly due to interspecific competition over, in this case, nesting and feeding resources.
