Generation of VIH2-3B transgenic Arabidopsis and its characterization. A Western analysis and screening of Col-0 Arabidopsis transgenic lines for TaVIH2-3B protein (~ 100 kDa) overexpressing lines. Multiple transgenic lines were screened, and Western was done using His-Antibody using 20 μg of total protein. Coomassie Blue stain of the total protein (lower panel) was used as a loading control. B Representative picture of the rosette area of the Transgenic Arabidopsis (#Line2, #Line4, #Line5, and #Line6) and controls. C Rosette area measurement (in cm2) using ImageJ for 4 different transgenic lines along with the controls. Measurement was taken after 14 days of growth. D Number of Rosette leaves in transgenic Arabidopsis and control lines. Three experimental replicates using 10 plants each were used to calculate the parameters
