Uptake of fluorescently labelled dextran in metamonada and discoba members: G. lamblia, S. vortens, S. salmonicida and T. foetus after 30 min. A G. lamblia cells present endocytic compartments spread in the cell periphery, unresolved by conventional light microscopy.
