Total rhizosphere communities were analysed through sequencing of 16S and ITS rDNA. Rhythmic changes over the 48-h timecourse were detected using MetaCycle, based on period values between 18 and 30 h, and Benjamini–Hochberg corrected p values BHQ less than 0.05.
