Trpm4 is expressed in SATB1-positive hilar mossy cells. Representative 10x (A–D) and 60x (E–G) confocal images of immunofluorescence staining for SATB1 (red) and RNAscope labeling of Trpm4 (green) from 3 independent experiments. Cell nuclei are stained with DAPI. Note that SATB1 stains exclusively the nucleus of neurons; therefore, Trpm4 signal in the close proximity of SATB1 is likely in the cytoplasm of MCs.
